Here's my take on 50 ways. It sounds dead on to me. If you have
any questions about it, drop me a line.

50 Ways to Leave Your Lover Paul Simon

verse:

Intro is just one time through on just guitar (and snare).

The B7 with the passing C note is played with a mini-barre using
the index finger on an otherwise standard B7 chord. (that is, finger
a B7 and then flatten your index finger to get the C).

The problem is all inside your head she said to me.
The answer is easy if you take it logically.
I'd like to help you in your struggle to be free
There must 50 ways to leave your lover.

You know it's really not my habit to intrude.
Further more I hope my meaning won't be lost or mis-construed
But I'll repeat myself, at the risk of seeming rude
There must be 50 ways to leave your lover.

50 Ways to leave your lover.

chorus: (no attempt to show the rhythm here)

Note - I have been told that the G should just have G's and D's so
that it is ambiguous whether it's major or minor, though it's always
sounded minor to me. I put the emphasis on the bass notes when
playing to get the effect.

E-3-----6-----8----------
B-3-----6-----8----------
G-4-----7-----9---------- REPEAT
D-5-----8-----10---------
A-5-----8-----10---------
E-3-----6-----8----------

Just slip out the back, Jack.
Make a new plan, Stan.
You don't need to be coy, Roy,
Just listen to me.

Or you hop on the bus, Gus.
You don't need to discuss much.
Just drop off the key, Lee,
And get yourself free.
