Update - I have now tabbed the verses properly and made a couple of minor
alterations elsewhere. Since making this tab I have come across a couple of
sources very confidently stating that the song is played in a different key
(one semitone down from this). I actually agree that played alone it sounds
better a semitone down, but the only version of the song I have (the one on
'The Best Air Guitar Album in the World... Ever!') is definitely played in
the key I've tabbed it in below.
Okay, the history of this file is a little convoluted, so I'll just take a
paragraph to explain. This is a replacement of the tab file on OLGA by John
Laban, with an addition from Nigel. I am sure that the tab, and the chord
file by 'TPLBA' were the basis for the tab by Kyle Cormier which I found on
another tab site. There were too many similarities to be mere coincidences.
Also, although the tab covered more of the song, some of his 'corrections'
were actually introducing flaws, and he just copied and pasted earlier bits
of the song into the later break which weren't actually the same. This tab
is based on the last OLGA tab and Kyle Cormier's. Apart from that it is all
my own work. As far as I am aware, this is the first and only complete tab
for this song on the internet.
X/Y - Pick note X then slide up to Y
Xb - Bend note (listen to the track to figure out the bend)
XbY - Play note X then bend up to give the note of fret Y
XhY - Pick note X then hammer-on Y
