This is from the movie "Breakfast At Tiffany's". It was actually written by Henry
but it's in a different key when Audrey sing it (originally it was in C). I love this song
no one had gotten it right, so here are, at least to my ear, the correct chords:

Fmaj7 Dm7 Bbmaj7 Fmaj7
Moon River, Wider than a mile
     Bbmaj7 Fmaj7
I'm crossing you in style
     Gm7 A7 Dm7 F7
Some day old dream maker
    Bbmaj7 Ebmaj7
You heart breaker
   Dm7 Bm7b5 E7 Am7 D7
C7
Wherever you're go- ing, I'm go- ing your way
Fmaj Dm7 Bbmaj7 Fmaj7
Two drifters, off to see the world
        Bbmaj7 Fmaj7 Gm7 A7
There's such a lot of world to see
      Am7 Bm7b5 Bb7 Fmaj7
We're after the same rainbow's end
Bbmaj7 Fmaj7
Waiting just around the bend
Bbmaj7 Fmaj7
My huckleberry friend
Dm7 Gm7 A7 Fmaj7
Moon river and me.

Chords used (they are jazz chords so they can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to the
shapes):

Moon River
==========
music Henry Mancini, lyrics Johnny Mercer

Transcribed by Graham Hawkins (ghawkins@comp.vuw.ac.nz)

V1.0 29 August 1996.

This song is from the movie Breakfast At Tiffany's. It won the
Oscar for Best Song in 1961, and also Best Score. As you probably
know the song was sung by Audrey Hepburn, and BTW her fingering
was spot on! :-)

All tab and lyrics are as I hear them in the film.

Verse1.
Moon River wider than a mile,
I'm crossin' you in style, some day.
Oh Dreammaker you heartbreaker,
Wherever your goin', I'm goin' your way.

Verse2.
Two drifters off to see the world;
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end,
Waitin' round the bend, my huckelberry friend.
Moon River and me.

Some of the tab for verse 2 is the same, so refer to the lyrics
above which are in the tab to see which order to play the tab in.

Moon River
as played on guitar in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Sounds lovely on nylon
strings.
These are interesting chords, so try them as I have them written even if
you know another voicing. After the chord blocks I have shown where to
put them relative to the lyrics. The chords change about every other
word, making it difficult to follow if many words are left out. For most
of the song the two lowest bass notes are picked in sequence followed by
two down strums.
